Sweet Emerson MacKenzie arrived

Monday December 20th 2010

at 3:42 am

weighing 8lbs

20 3/4 in length.

Even though she is currently 4 days old she has been

such an amazing addition to our family.

Her big sister Presley loves her and loves to help

Mommy, handing her additional baby wipes and diapers.

And giving me the funniest looks if any milk was left in the bottle.

It is deja vu with Emerson feeding every couple hours through out the night

with bigger stretches in between day time feedings.

One thing is for sure!

I love this life,

our growing family

and I wouldn't change it for anything.

Sleep will come soon enough,

they grow up way too fast.

We,

our family of 4 + our dog :)

Bucket List

People always ask if I have cravings during my pregnancy.

I really don't I answer.

But, maybe I do.

I crave things I can't have or won't while pregnant.

So this time I created a list that is in Josh's car for me to add to.

I refer to it as my post pregnancy bucket list.

Silly, I know.

With Presley and Emerson I did not eat lunch meat, hot dogs, soft cheeses

and most sodas.Anyone that knows me knows my favorite food is a good sandwich.

So, here's my list:

1. Turkey sub from Subway

2. Wasabi Roast beef from Tropical Smoothie (I've never had it but hear its delicious)

3. Cuban from deli in S Tampa

4. Any Sub from Larry's Giant

5. Blue cheese on anything.

6. Turkey sub from Jimmy John's

7. Oscar Mayer Turkey Dogs-one with ketchup and one with mustard

8. Corn dogs-especially the fried ones from carnivals

9. Mt Dew-I'm not a coffee drinker so occasionally at work I treat my self to a Mt Dew. This one has been hard to not think about often, a few of the nurses and several Residents live off it. I love the smell of Mt Dew and the taste. My friend Haley bought me a mini Mt Dew chap stick after I oddly whiffed her soda one day. It smells good but is a big ole tease in the taste factory.

10. A nice glass of wine with dinner.

So this is my list that I plan to conquer once little Miss Emerson arrives.

Pretty Baby

Josh and I treated ourselves to 3D Ultrasound

of Emerson.

Maybe we ( really I ) am a littled biased

but I think we make

Beautiful Babies.

Seeing her today brought tears to my eyes.

I envision loving and hugging on her.

Presley giving her sweet kisses.

The girls jumping on Daddy's back to wrestle.

Lots of love.

Loads of hugs.

Tons of kisses.

A home filled with so much happiness.

And a Mommy who will love to watch

her children play, grow and discover the World.

We were only able to get a few profile shots

because just like her Big Sister

she kept her little hands by her face.

House for sale

Presley is so excited, she is going to be a big sister.

She has always wanted to be a big sister and looks forward to

sharing all her toys with her new sibling.

Josh and I are also thrilled to be growing our family.

We would like to take this opportunity to give you, your

What do you do when Grandpa turns 50?

Then when the cake is cut

Mamma takes the opportunity

to smear a mustache on the little ones face.

Don't worry she thought is was funny

as did I.

Then she of course ate her cake.

Beach Beauty

Aunt Nora came for a visit.

So, we of course went to the beach.

This was the first time Presley has been since she has

mastered her walking.

She played in the sand very little.

She preferred to walk along the shore.

Occasionally, letting the waves crash against her

little legs.

I'm glad we had this time

and that I took lots of pictures

I worry about the future of our

gorgeous beaches.

Life really is such a Treat!

A couple days after the party

We loaded up with leftover decorations,

cupcakes and a few outfits

And headed over to my favorite photographers house.

She had a busy morning

New Discovery

After breakfast Presley plays for a bit......

This morning we heard noises coming from her room.

We recognized the noises

But, she has never been able to create them

So as any parent would do we snuck around the corner

to peak...

She has discovered to open her drawers and

decided to remove everything.
